The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) belt is an integral part of your automatic Scooter’s, Go Kart's, or ATV’s transmission. GoKartsUSA has an expansive selection of CVT belt sizes available, and we are adding more all of the time!
Scooter CVT belts are available from multiple companies, and in varying compositions. We currently provide premium quality CVT belts from Gates and Bando, upgraded options from Polini and Naraku, as well as our own Universal Parts brand. The premium Gates and Bando are Aramid (the generic name of a certain bulletproof fabric) reinforced for high strength and long life. Gates also offers a more affordable standard composition belt with nylon reinforcement, and Universal Parts is our most affordable OEM replacement quality option.
CVT belts are measured in 3 dimensions. For example, here is what the numbers of a 669-80-30 belt actually mean:
- 669 = The Pitch Length of the belt in millimeters
- 18 = The Width of the belt in millimeters
- 30 = The Angle of the teeth on the interior of the belt
