Cams

The BILLET Camshaft for GX200, 6.5 OHV, and 212 Predators offers a range of grind options defined by both lift values (274, 307, 320, 356) and lobe separation angles (108°, 110°, 112°, 114°), each combination influencing engine performance in distinct ways.

**Lift 274 Series**: With lower lift, these camshafts paired with tighter lobe separations (108°–110°) enhance low-end torque and improve throttle response by increasing valve overlap for better scavenging at lower RPMs. A wider lobe separation (112°–114°) in this lift range softens overlap, promoting smoother idle and slightly better fuel efficiency. -

**Lift 307 Series**: Offering a moderate lift, these grinds with narrower lobe separation angles (108°–110°) provide a spirited mid-range power boost with increased valve overlap, favoring performance-oriented daily use. Wider angles (112°–114°) reduce overlap, improving drivability and stability at idle while maintaining respectable power. -

**Lift 320 Series**: Higher lift cams paired with narrow lobe separation (108°–110°) optimize high-RPM power by intensifying valve overlap, enhancing cylinder filling and exhaust scavenging. Increasing the lobe separation to 112°–114° trades some peak power for smoother transitions and better low-end characteristics. -

**Lift 356 Series**: The highest lift cams combined with tighter lobe separations provide maximum valve opening and aggressive overlap, making them ideal for peak horsepower and racing applications. Wider lobe separations reduce overlap and temper the aggressive nature, offering improved control and streetability while retaining strong top-end performance.

Selecting the right combination of lift and lobe separation enables precise tailoring of valve timing dynamics—balancing power, torque, and engine smoothness—to meet specific performance goals in GX200, 6.5 OHV, and 212 Predator engines.

Made from hardened tool steel. Cam gear is billet steel.
Camshaft timing (ICL) is adjustable in 2-degree increments from 100 to 112 (set at 106 when shipped). These cams do not have a compression release. They are available in several grinds.

Select from the following lobe designs:
  • .274 Lift, 260 Duration at .050
  • .307 Lift, 260 Duration at .050
  • .320 Lift, 260 Duration at .050
  • .356 Lift, 260 Duration at .050

.320 Lift or less will have a base circle of .815"
Lift larger than .320 will have a base circle of .760"

Only fits GX200, true 6.5 OHVs, and hemi style Predators. Will not fit non-hemi (old-style) Predators.

*Note: Block or crankshaft may require clearance to clear camshaft lobes. As these are a special order item, please allow 1 week before shipping.

Warning: No returns on these cams. Please be sure to select the correct specifications when ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order be shipped and how long does delivery take?
Orders containing in-stock items typically ship within 3–5 business days. Orders that include assembly will require 7–10 business days to prepare. Please note that during the holiday season (Thanksgiving through Christmas), processing times may be longer due to high order volume. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with tracking information. Most orders are shipped via Less Than Truckload (LTL) freight and generally arrive within 3–7 business days. Deliveries to remote areas (such as mountains, forests, valleys, or islands) may take longer. You can check the estimated delivery date on the carrier’s website using the tracking number we provide.
How your vehicle is shipped?
Unless otherwise noted, the vehicles we offer are shipped crated or on a pallet and do not come assembled unless you’ve selected our assembly service. Assembly typically requires a few basic tools and mechanical knowledge. If you're not confident in your ability to safely assemble a high-speed off-road vehicle, we strongly recommend selecting professional assembly or having it assembled by a local mechanic.

What does 95% or 98% Assembly Mean? What do I need to assemble if shipped in crate?

For shipping safety, most vehicles cannot be fully assembled prior to delivery.

Minor assembly is required—this typically includes installing mirrors, connecting the battery, adjusting handlebars, and other small components. Before operation, please ensure all screws and fasteners are tightened, engine fluids are at proper levels, and the battery is fully charged. Your factory warranty remains valid right out of the box.
