The new big valve version is designed for builds with 2.7" bores and bigger . It has both bigger valves and bigger (correctly sized) larger ports than the std SBH. It utilizes an efficient 18cc combustion chamber.

This head will help your big bore build reach its full potential! Optimized for bottom end pull and still able to hit high horsepower numbers on the larger displacement >236cc builds.

DED Racing has taken its 20 years of air cooled cylinder head development experience and integrated it into their new billet Honda/Clone head. Introducing the SBH designed to be an affordable upgrade of modified cast heads. With its integrated rocker arms, superior flow, and rigidity, it offers performance and value that can't be matched by a cast head or even other billet heads. It is designed to be a true bolt-on product where the critical items are included, so you don't have to search far and wide to get your project together. This also allows them to ensure that things like rocker arm geometry is optimized and perfect. (Simply, More Powerful- This is a product to make your sport more fun, not more frustrating).

  • Billet Flywheel Required

  • Run with at least 16 OZ of 4T Briggs and Stratton/Amsoil Oil
  • .315 or less lift Cam Shaft with the 1.25" rockers this lift is optimal.- Bigger Cams waste torque and reduce the overall power output of the head.
  • 28-32mm Carburetor, or HL 380 series Tillotson style carb - Intake ID is 1.125"
  • Methanol Fuel is highly recommended for its cooling and power effect.
  • Race Gas/Premium Mix 50/50% but, a 206 could probably run on 93 oct OK for drag racing applications where less heat is present.
  • Timing 28-31 on Gas or 31-34 on Methanol

Requires the use of a SFI approve Billet Flywheel! Never use anything but an SFI billet flywheel with our engine products. This head is designed for sanction racing events only and must be installed by a qualified technician with knowledge of the sport you compete in.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order be shipped and how long does delivery take?
Orders containing in-stock items typically ship within 3–5 business days. Orders that include assembly will require 7–10 business days to prepare. Please note that during the holiday season (Thanksgiving through Christmas), processing times may be longer due to high order volume. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with tracking information. Most orders are shipped via Less Than Truckload (LTL) freight and generally arrive within 3–7 business days. Deliveries to remote areas (such as mountains, forests, valleys, or islands) may take longer. You can check the estimated delivery date on the carrier’s website using the tracking number we provide.
How your vehicle is shipped?
Unless otherwise noted, the vehicles we offer are shipped crated or on a pallet and do not come assembled unless you’ve selected our assembly service. Assembly typically requires a few basic tools and mechanical knowledge. If you're not confident in your ability to safely assemble a high-speed off-road vehicle, we strongly recommend selecting professional assembly or having it assembled by a local mechanic.

What does 95% or 98% Assembly Mean? What do I need to assemble if shipped in crate?

For shipping safety, most vehicles cannot be fully assembled prior to delivery.

Minor assembly is required—this typically includes installing mirrors, connecting the battery, adjusting handlebars, and other small components. Before operation, please ensure all screws and fasteners are tightened, engine fluids are at proper levels, and the battery is fully charged. Your factory warranty remains valid right out of the box.
